Coating for concrete floors: functional and aesthetic
Concrete coating is mainly used on floors in industrial and commercial environments: warehouses, production areas, car parks, workshops or showrooms. But offices, shops and even homes increasingly opt for a protected and beautifully finished concrete floor.

A coating for concrete floors makes the substrate dust-free, water-repellent, wear-resistant and easy to maintain. You also determine the colour, gloss level and texture yourself. Safety and appearance go hand in hand.

Types of concrete coating

Every environment requires an appropriate concrete coating. Vibol develops exclusively high-quality industrial systems, tailored to your application. The main types:

Concrete epoxy
A popular choice for coating concrete floors. Epoxy on concrete creates a hard, chemically resistant and liquid-tight layer that withstands intensive use. Available as a self-levelling floor coating or anti-slip finish. Ideal for production halls, garages, warehouses and workshops.
Polyurethane (PU) coatings
More flexible than epoxy and better resistant to UV radiation and temperature fluctuations. Therefore often used as a topcoat in combination with epoxy. Also suitable for spaces where comfort and elasticity are important, such as offices or public buildings.
Acrylic paints (water-based)
For walls, concrete partitions or panels inside buildings we often use acrylic coatings. Low odour, quick drying and easy to apply – ideal in occupied or busy environments.
